Baltimore’s Lake Roland neighborhood is a great place to buy an extraordinary residence. Lake Roland is a 100-acre reservoir in Baltimore County – just outside the city limits. We had a lot of rain here in Baltimore last week, so the grounds were looking lush and the water level was to the brim. The Temperature was a perfect 75 degrees as I watched the cloud reflection on the water.
Lake Roland is part of Robert E Lee Park, I've got a lot of happy memories of walks with friends in this park. In particular it's a favorite of dog lovers who are always out and about on the trails.
Another park feature that we Baltimoreans all enjoy are the waterfalls from the Dam. There is an c.1860 commemorative plaque on the terrace overlooking the scene where you can see someone attempt a bit of fishing.
